"Every day we think about our wonderful holidays in Le Marche. Our stay at Lucertola is a joy to look back at. Your hospitality and relaxed way to treat your guests we have experienced as very pleasant. When I look outside now (rain and 15 °C ), the longing comes back to get the car out of the garage and head for the Marches again. While putting the photo's in their album our blood runs faster seeing it all again. The feeling of utter freedom is difficult to describe. We think that you in the Marche have discovered a feeling of "born to be free."

"What were the highlights? Firstly, this house, 'our' house. We are used to wonderful holiday environments ('we've been around') but nowhere so much attention was given to the decoration, the 'cortesia' (the important value of 'courtesy': taking into account the specialness, peculiarities of others) of Marijke and Dirk. Furthermore, we remember our day in Ancona: the marvellous 'cattedrale' and the view at the harbour, the scriptorium and the Dante library in Fonte Avellana..."

You have designed and decorated Antonella into a tasteful, comfortable and luxorious apartement, actually, the apartment you long to have as a vacation location. And the Marches are beautiful! Indeed Italy in one region. A wealth of undiscovered beauty is to be discovered in castles, churches and musea. Everywhere, we met nice and kind people, also because of you. In short, we have seen a lot (but not all) and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Lucertola was great - and this documentation, wow!"
