Location and routeLucertola ( 3 km from San Lorenzo in Campo) is located ca. 40 km NW of Ancona and 35 km SE of Urbino. The Apennines and Adriatic coast are ca. 25 km.
Several ways lead to Rome and Lucertola. Fastest are the motorways through Germany and Switzerland. Take along Euro 23,- for the motorway tolls in Italy. After Bologna follow the A14 in the direction of Ancona/Bari. After having passed Fano, take the exit: Marrotta/Pergola. This is the SS424. After 25 km, you arrive at the center of San Lorenzo in Campo. After booking we will mail you a detailed routedescription from San Lorenzo to Lucertola.
Flying: airports in Bologna (two hours from Lucertola by e.g. rental car) and Ancona (45 min. Ryanair takes you here for extremely low prices if you book way in advance!). Trains: you can train until Marotta. We however advise to get out in Fano and rent a car here. (From Fano, 35 min. to Lucertola.)
